THE KOLPING SOCIETY OF EDMONTON
Program for March to December 2010
March 4th -----Regular meeting with presentation by Fr. Neumann, he will show
a DVD about astronomy
April 8th-----Regular meeting, we will discuss the barbecue and Fr. Neumann
will arrange for a speaker on the topic of development and peace.
May 6th-----Discuss barbecue and cleaning of cottage; presentation by Henry
Werner about new products they are working on.
May 29th-----barbecue at the cottage, note: it is a Saturday
June 3rd-----regular meeting with speaker from Catholic Social Services about
their work in the inner city; Fr. Neumann will arrange it.
June 18th, 19th and 20th-----annual hike in the mountains---this time maybe to
Switzer Provincial Park near Hinton.
August 14th---Pot luck at the cottage
Sept. 2nd-----regular meeting with DVD of King Ludwig ll castles
Sept.18th----mini-hike, somewhere in an Edmonton park to enjoy the fall
colors
Oct. 7th---Regular meeting, Henry will show DVD about Rapid Transit
Nov. 4th---World day of prayer mass – regular meeting to follow
Dec. 2nd----regular meeting with advent program
Dec. 5th----special Sunday Mass dedicated to Fr. Kolping (the anniversary
of his death)
All our meetings are hosted by every member taking a turn at preparing a beautiful buffet.
